Whereas, The Rules of Procedure have not been updated since September 7, 2008; and
Whereas, There is no text which directly regards effective legislation under Rule 5. “Course of Legislation” within the Rules of Procedure; now, therefore be it
Resolved, That the following text be added to the Rules of Procedure:
Rule 5.7 Effective Legislation
(a) Any adopted legislation which amends the Bylaws, Election Manual, Constitution, or any other official document shall be updated in an appropriate manner before the next scheduled Senate meeting once said legislation becomes effective.
