Whereas, There is a Board of Regents meeting April 8-9, 2009 in Valdez;
Whereas, Some people believe the senate should send representatives to Board of Regents meetings;
Whereas, ASUAF is considering legilsation pertinant to issues handled by the Board of Regents
Whereas, It would cost $75 pay for gas for two volunteered vehicles; and
Whereas, There is a bed and breakfast in Valdez called Downtown B & B Inn and if three people were put in one room, it would cost ~400 for two nights; now therefore be it
Enacted, That the ASUAF Senate allocates up to $700 from senate projects to send representatives to this event; and be it further
EEnacted, That these representatives be sent lobby for relevant legislation:
Jennifer Chambers, Patrick Sanders, Jessi Hughes, Nikki Carvajal, Josh Luther, Ben Molnia, Kirsten Halpin, Todd Vorisek, and Adrian Triebel.
