Whereas, There are members of the Senate that believe that the duties they have taken an oath to perform and the bylaws that guide ASUAF need only be carried out if they are asked to perform them; and
Whereas, There is currently only one duty outlined in the bylaws that stipulates that one must be asked about it in order to carry it out; and
Whereas, It is only right that if this is the dominant position on the issue, that the bylaws should be edited to reflect this position; now, therefore be it
Enacted, That all applicable ASUAF Bylaws pertaining to duties that an ASUAF official should perform have the phrase, “if asked to do so” added at the end of each applicable bylaw with the exception of 221.4 and its related bylaws.
