Whereas, The bylaw stipulating the duty to notify Senators of agendas and legislation for meetings appears to be an “upon request” duty of the Senate Clerk, which is shared by the Senate Chair when no clerk is present; now, therefore be it
Enacted, That bylaw 221.4 have the phrases “upon request” and “for the purpose of the execution of a Senate meeting” removed and that the phrase “at least 48 hours prior to a Senate meeting unless said documents are submitted late” be added at the end of said bylaw; and be it further
Enacted, That "221.4.1 The Senate Clerk shall receive and accept all lately submitted documents up to an hour before the weekly Senate meeting and will thereby be responsible for ensuring that all lately submitted documents are made visibly available to all Senators at the meeting" and "221.4.2 The agenda does not apply to these exceptions and shall be distributed at least 48 hours in advance of a meeting" be added to the bylaws.
