Whereas, The ASUAF Government recognizes the Intramural Program at UAF to be paramount to the experience of hundreds of students; and

Whereas, Too often the Intramural Program, currently administered under the SRC Coordinator, is not given the specific attention necessary to promote the consistency and stability students demand from their extra-academic activities; and
Whereas, The importance of the students being responsible for the hiring of an Intramural Coordinator who, being a student, can give the attention to the program is necessary for continued success of the program and to elevate current problems now therefore be it;

Resolved, That ASUAF supports students being in charge of hiring an Intramural Coordinator who will run intramurals for the students; and be it further,
Resolved, That this is in no way a mark against the SRC Coordinator but rather an opportunity for students to take charge and reduce the stresses involved with intramurals; and be it further,
Resolved, That this conversation get started by contacting the SRC Coordinator, convening the SRC Board, communicating with the current intramural teams, and securing funding from the current financial resources given to Intramurals to reestablish student administration of the program.
